How can the auditor's report adapt to the XBRL era? How can it be at least as trustworthy as its traditional counterpart while laying down a path that improves upon and adds to the readability and trustworthiness of today's model? In this session, thought leaders and practitioners currently involved in considering and applying security and authentication technologies to the intersection of reporting and the associated auditor's report and opinion will discuss the state of the art in assurance reporting that is trustworthy, protective and authentic. Learn about the progress on XBRL assurance, why previous practice has not been sufficient, what’s in place today and what needs to happen going forward.
