Jeff is a Director in Deloitte’s national technology & knowledge management group. In this role Jeff works with companies and regulators on the implementation of data standards for the collection and analysis of business reporting information. He also works on projects to enhance audit processes using technology and data analytics.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Jeff Naumann was the Assistant Director of the Office of Interactive Data at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In this position, Jeff led the implementation of the Commission’s multiple XBRL disclosure rules as part of the overall effort to enhance the usefulness of data in Commission filings. Jeff and his team were also responsible for deploying tools and processes to further analytic use of the structured data from these disclosures.

Jeff previously worked for Deloitte for eight years initially as an auditor primarily working with consumer business entities and later in the firm’s international technology office in Princeton where he participated in the development of global technology solutions to support the firm’s assurance services.
