Rob leverages more than 19 years of business reporting and enterprise software developmentexpertise in his leadership role as Trintech, Inc.’s Senior Product Director for Cadency’s®Completion, a Cloud-based disclosure management solution that helps companies improve theirexisting external reporting process. In his current role, Rob is lead product evangelist andresponsible for overseeing product direction, requirements and marketing to both new and existingTrintech customers.In addition to being globally recognized as a founder and expert in XBRL with direct involvement inthe standard dating back to 1999, Rob’s prior work has involved various leadership focused onbusiness reporting. Most recently as Senior Director at RR Donnelley (and formerly Bowne & Co.,Inc.), Rob provided the strategic vision and oversaw solution development for four enterprise XBRLapplications supporting 600+ team members and 700+ customers. As initial Project Director forthe U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s U.S. GAAP XBRL taxonomy project, he led avirtual team of over 25 companies and 70 accounting and technology resources to create the initialUS GAAP XBRL taxonomy. As a founder of Rivet Software, Rob helped bring to market fourindustry-changing XBRL solutions. For 9 years with Microsoft Corporation (including FRxSoftware), Rob served in a variety of roles including XBRL Global Lead and Director of ProductStrategies.
