Timothy Randle has over 30 years of technical, management and consulting experience in the software and financial services industries, working with large corporations to small start-up ventures, including three companies he co-founded. Recently, as Director of XBRL Solutions at WebFilings, Mr. Randle provided subject matter expertise and technical strategic direction to support the production of WebFilings' XBRL tools and professional services, starting with the company's first product launch through its explosive growth to becoming the US market leader, now satisfying the XBRL reporting needs of over 60% of Fortune 500 companies.  Now in his new role as WebFilings' Director of Innovative Technology Solutions, Timothy's responsibilities also include the integration of new emerging semantic and data management technologies to enable broader capabilites for compliance and other reporting domains.
Prior to joining WebFilings, Mr. Randle's XBRL activities covered a range of technical and educational contributions including taxonomy design and development, XBRL systems consulting, XBRL software development and training services. Timothy was a founding partner of an XBRL Technology and Service consulting company, providing services to multiple XBRL technology vendors, top-tier financial printers, the SEC, and several SEC filing entities including some of the first Fortune 100 registrants to begin submitting US-GAAP Interactive Data filings to the SEC. Timothy is currently an active member of both the XBRL.US Best Practices Committee and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Taxonomy Advisory Group.
