Vlad Etkin is the Chief Information Officer of Axiom Software Laboratories (AxiomSL).  Mr. Etkin who joined AxiomSL in 1992, has been instrumental in developing and implementing the software architecture that has enabled the company's product suite to be recognized as a leader in successfully delivering regulatory reporting solutions at leading financial institutions. 

Prior to joining AxiomSL in 1992, Mr. Etkin managed a group of programmers in creating one of the first FMS/ERP programs in Ukraine.  Mr. Etkin also participated in - and then headed a group of programmers - the design of the operating system and programs for numeric control devices for grinding machines.  These devices were used to handled high-speed grinding of complex surfaces. 

Mr. Etkin earned his degree in theoretical physics from Kharkov University, Ukraine.
